DC Studios has unveiled a fresh Superman trailer showcasing three action-packed minutes from the highly anticipated film.

The James Gunn-directed project, set for release on July 11, 2025, features an expansive roster of heroes and villains - many receiving their most detailed look yet. Highlights include Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner/Green Lantern effortlessly dispatching foes, Isabela Merced's Hawkgirl in battle-ready form, and María Gabriela de Faría's menacing Engineer.

The trailer confirms The Engineer's shocking attack on Superman's robotic caretakers at the Fortress of Solitude, likely including fan-favorite Kelex (previously shown being cradled by a grieving Superman).

In an unexpected twist, Krypto the Superdog joins the fray with an airborne attack on The Engineer - proving even Super-pets won't back down from villainy.

The preview also delivers new footage of Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor, Ultraman, plus expanded roles for Edi Gathegi's Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan's Rex Mason/Metamorpho. The mysterious Hammer of Boravia - Gunn's original creation speculated to be Ultraman in disguise - makes their anticipated debut.

The trailer highlights Clark and Lois' complex relationship dynamics, featuring Lois interviewing Superman amidst growing tensions. Their professional exchange escalates into heated debate when confronting Superman's controversial military intervention ("I answer only to my conscience... and justice!"). This ultimately provokes The Hammer of Boravia's devastating attack on Metropolis.

A poignant scene shows civilians divided - where one passerby helps Superman from rubble, contrasting starkly with earlier shots of protesters hurling objects at the conflicted hero.
