Themis Unveils Dunes Ballad Event, New MR Cards Added

HoYoverse has unveiled an exciting new update for *Tears of Themis* titled "Ballad of the Dunes," a collaborative event with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This crossover event beautifully merges the allure of detective work with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city nestled on the edge of the Gobi Desert.

What Does Ballad of the Dunes Bring to Tears of Themis?

The "Ballad of the Dunes" event is a captivating blend of history, romance, and mystery, set against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road. Players will immerse themselves in solving mysteries while exploring the cultural richness of Dunhuang. Here's what the event introduces to *Tears of Themis*:

The event features four new MR cards, each showcasing Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, styled to reflect various aspects of Dunhuang's culture. You'll encounter elements like flying apsaras, detailed murals, and the iconic pipa played behind the back, reminiscent of ancient performers from the Mogao Caves. The Silk Road, a historical hub of art, culture, and trade since the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD), is brought to life in this digital experience by HoYoverse.

Each card narrates a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." These cards also include Private Messages that delve into a journey spanning a thousand years.

What Are the Rewards?

From February 13th to February 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and various other rewards by completing event tasks. The main challenge involves flipping cells on a game board to reveal rewards. The highlight of the event is the pack of Ballad of the Dunes MR cards, where players can choose one of the four MR cards as their final reward in each round. Achieving 100 cell flips will unlock the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.

Don't miss out on this unique event! Download *Tears of Themis* from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the "Ballad of the Dunes" event.

Stay tuned for more updates, including our next news on *Wingspan* releasing its Asia Expansion this year with new cards and modes.
