Thermite in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2: A Heist Helper

Vaults have returned to Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, but accessing them is tougher than ever. Luckily, Epic Games introduced the perfect tool for aspiring thieves: Thermite. This guide details how to find and utilize Thermite effectively.

Locating Thermite:

Acquiring Thermite is straightforward. It's readily available as floor loot, within chests, and purchasable with Bars at Black Markets and Outlaw Vending Machines (located in Crime City, Seaport City, Lonewolf Lair, and Masked Meadows). You can also find it in Go Bags.

Utilizing Thermite:

Primarily, Thermite is used to breach Vaults. Place it against the Vault's entrance and await its detonation. Targeting weak points on the Vault structure accelerates the process. Remember, other players will likely target you for the loot, so stay vigilant.

Alternatively, Thermite can be thrown as a projectile. It features a short fuse before exploding, unleashing a barrage of smaller explosives that damage nearby opponents. While not the most potent explosive in Fortnite, it's a valuable asset in close-quarters combat.

This concludes our guide on finding and using Thermite in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2. For further information, check out the rumored collaborations for this Lawless season.

Fortnite is available on multiple platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
