Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Player Builds Functional Cruiser

One creative Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has built a cruiser using Zonai devices. From the simplest raft to remote-controlled planes, Tears of the Kingdom players have built all types of vehicles by merging planks, Zonai devices, and items extracted from shrines. They have pushed the limits of the game's building system to see if they can turn their vehicles into functional war machines.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players are advised to craft a vehicle as soon as they get the required items, because riding across Hyrule with a horse can be a little time-consuming. Using a plane and car, players can explore the skies and reach wherever they want on the ground. Considering Tears of the Kingdom's map is larger than Breath of the Wild's due to the addition of the Depths and Sky Islands, it's nearly impossible to visit every location in Hyrule without a vehicle.

One crafty Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player, known on Reddit as ryt1314059, has built a cruiser with great maneuverability and speed. This functional warship has two guns (Zonai cannons) that automatically aim at nearby enemies. It performs any desired maneuvers in water, changing its direction quickly despite its size. The vehicle consists of planks, cannons, fans, homing carts, a battery, and railings that players can find near Tears of the Kingdom's Construct Factory.

Railings that connect cannons and wooden planks increase the vehicle's maneuverability and torque, allowing the player to explore Hyrule's coasts more easily. Besides, Zonai fans between planks serve as propellers, using wind power to generate thrust. Except for railings, these materials are available in Tears of the Kingdom's device dispensers.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players can utilize a number of Zonai items, including fans, hover stones, and steering sticks, to add functionality to their custom contraptions. Each device has a different function, allowing Link to build all types of vehicles. They are used for solving puzzles hidden across the game's massive map. The easiest way to get these items is to spend Zonai charges on gachapon machines, which are commonly found in the Sky Islands.

In addition to Zonai devices and shrine items, Tears of the Kingdom features some powerful abilities, such as Ultrahand, Recall, and Fuse, that players can utilize to combine items. They are unlocked as players complete shrines scattered throughout the map. These skills are utilized to build intricate structures and attach objects to shields and weapons.
