Norton Family offers a comprehensive solution to help you manage and monitor your children's online activities, fostering safe, smart, and healthy digital habits. With Norton Family, you can gain valuable insights that help maintain a balanced online and offline lifestyle for your kids, whether they're at home, in school, or on the move, keeping them focused on what truly matters.
• Monitor the sites and content your child views
Make the internet a safer space for your children to explore by staying informed about the websites they visit. Norton Family allows you to block potentially harmful or inappropriate content, ensuring a secure online environment.‡
• Set limits on your child’s internet access
Help your kids achieve a healthy balance between their online and offline activities by setting scheduled screen time limits on their devices. This feature is especially useful during school hours and bedtime, helping your children stay focused on their studies and reduce distractions.‡
• Stay informed about your child’s physical location
Utilize the geo-location feature within the app to keep track of your child's whereabouts. You'll receive alerts if your child enters or leaves areas you've designated as important. (4)
Here are some of the Norton Family features designed to help parents protect their children's online activities:
• Instant Lock
Encourage your kids to take breaks from their devices with the Instant Lock feature, allowing them to refocus or join family activities like dinner. While in lock mode, you can still communicate with your children, and they can contact each other.
• Web Supervision
Allow your children to explore the web safely with tools that block unsuitable websites while keeping you informed about their browsing activities. (6)
• Video Supervision
Monitor the YouTube videos your kids watch on their PCs or mobile devices. You can view a snippet of each video to understand their content and determine if further discussion is needed. (3)
• Mobile App Supervision
Keep an eye on the apps your children download on their Android devices and choose which ones they are allowed to use. (5)
Time Features:
• School Time
During remote learning, you can't simply pause the internet on your child's device. Instead, manage access to relevant categories and websites to help your child stay focused during school hours.
Location Features:
• Alert Me
Automatically receive updates about your child's location. Set specific times and dates to get alerts on your child's device location. (2)

4. Location Supervision requires activation before use.
5. Mobile app must be downloaded separately.
6. Norton Family uses AccessibilityService API to collect data about websites viewed through browsers on your child's device. It is also used to prevent the child from removing permissions without a parent’s authentication.
