Application Description

Pingo is a companion app to the Findmykids location tracker, designed specifically for parents to monitor their children's whereabouts. It's essential to install this child tracker app only on devices used by children or teenagers.

To get started, first download the Findmykids parent tracker app on your device. Then, install the Pingo GPS location tracker on your child's device and enter the unique code provided by the Findmykids app upon registration.

Once set up, you'll have access to a range of features to keep your child safe:

Kids GPS Tracker: Track your child's location in real-time on a map and review their daily activity history. This online location diary helps ensure your child avoids dangerous areas. For added convenience, you can connect a kid smart watch to the Pingo app for seamless tracking.

Sound Around: Use the location tracker to listen to the environment around your child, ensuring their safety. This feature is active only when the child tracker is properly installed on their phone.

Loud Signal: Send a loud alert to your child's device if it's on silent or lost in a backpack. This feature also extends to locating a lost kid smart watch through our GPS watch tracking app.

Screen Time Manager: Monitor app usage during school hours to ensure your child stays focused on learning rather than playing games. Pingo serves as a comprehensive parental control app for your child's phone.

Notifications: Stay updated on your child's movements with notifications when they arrive at school, return home, or visit other designated locations.

Battery Control: Receive reminders to charge your child's device, preventing it from running out of power at critical times. This feature is compatible with both smartphones and kid smart watches.

Family Chat: Engage with your child through a secure chat room, complete with fun stickers and voice message capabilities within the child tracker app.

While basic location tracking is available for free, other features such as advanced parental controls may require a subscription to unlock full functionality.

For children without a phone, a kid smart watch can be connected to our GPS watch tracking app for effective tracking.

The GPS family tracker app requires certain permissions to function effectively:

  • Access to camera and photos for setting the child's avatar.
  • Access to contacts to populate the GPS watch's phone book.
  • Access to the microphone for sending voice messages in the chat.
  • Accessibility services to manage screen time on the child's device.

Should you encounter any technical issues, our Findmykids 24-hour support team is available through the in-app support chat or via email at [email protected].
