Author : Sarah May 03,2025

As one of the longest-running movie franchises of all time, the Fast and Furious series has transformed from humble street racing films into the epitome of over-the-top Hollywood action, amassing nearly $2 billion USD at the global box office. With twelve films in total, including nine mainline entries, one spinoff, and two shorts, the saga has woven a complex narrative that can be challenging to follow. Now that the latest installment, Fast X, is available to stream on Amazon, we've created a comprehensive guide to help you watch the Fast and Furious movies in chronological order.

At the end of this article, you'll also find a list of the films in order of their release dates, if you prefer to watch them that way. Note that we've excluded the animated series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers due to its minimal relevance to the main storyline.
