How to Play 101 Okey Vip Offline

101 Okey Vip is a multi-round game played with four players. The objective is to finish with the lowest possible score. The player with the fewest points at the end of all rounds emerges as the winner. Points are calculated based on the numbers on the remaining tiles (e.g., a red 3 equals three points, a black 11 equals 11 points). The game concludes either when no more tiles are available to draw or when a player completes their hand.

Getting Started with the Game

The dealer distributes 21 stones to each player and 22 to the player on their right. The remaining stones are placed face down on the table, with one stone turned face up to determine the joker (OKEY piece). The game proceeds counterclockwise, starting with the player to the right of the dealer, who has 22 stones and begins by discarding a tile without drawing one. Subsequent players can either draw a tile from the deck or pick up the last discarded tile. If a player's hand totals 101, they can open their hand by arranging and placing their series on the table. If unable to open, the player discards a tile to end their turn. Every player must discard a tile to complete their turn, even if they've opened their entire hand.

Joker (Okey Stone or Riziko)

The joker (okey stone) varies with each game. Two joker tiles, known as fake jokers, represent the number one higher than the face-up tile. Jokers have a distinct appearance from other tiles. For instance, if the indicator tile is a blue 5, the real jokers are the two blue 6s in play, and fake jokers are valued as blue 6.

Deals and Showing Hands

To open a hand, you need at least 101 points, achieved through sets of three or four tiles of different colors with the same numbers (e.g., black 5, red 5, blue 5) or sequential sets of the same color (e.g., red 7, 8, 9). Each set must contain at least three tiles. Players can add to existing opened sets once they reach 101 points and open their hand. If a player picks up a discarded tile, they must use it immediately. If they haven't opened their hand yet, they must do so upon picking up the tile, incorporating it into one of their sets. If the tile can't be used, it's returned, and a new tile is drawn from the deck without penalty.

Doubles

Another way to open a hand is by collecting at least five pairs of tiles. Once a player opens their hand with doubles, they cannot open a normal set in the same game but can add to sets opened by others on the table.
