The Game

Chinese Checkers (also known as Sternhalma or Chinese Chequers) is a popular board game that originated in Germany. Played on a star-shaped board by 2 to 6 players, the goal is to move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposite one.

Game Modes

This app lets you play both online and offline.

Online play offers two options: 1. Get matched with a random opponent, 2. Create a private game for friends or join one using a code.

Offline games let you play against the computer or challenge another player locally on the same device. You can configure the game with any number of players.

Bots

Three different AI bots are available: "Weak Bot," "Medium Bot," and "Strong Bot."

As the name implies, the Weak Bot simulates a novice player who often makes suboptimal moves—perfect for beginners.

The Medium Bot is much smarter, but experienced players can still defeat it.

Defeating the Strong Bot requires significant skill and effort.

Profile

Click the person icon in the bottom-right corner of the main screen to set up your profile, which is shown to others in online games. You can enter your name and choose an avatar.

Settings

Tap the gear icon on the main page to open the Settings screen, where you can customize the game to your liking. In Settings, you can:

- Adjust sound effects volume (for button clicks, moves, game end, etc.);

- Adjust background music volume;

- Select a background music track;

- Choose an interface theme and game board theme;

- Turn Super Chinese Checkers mode on or off;

- Enable or disable the "cheat" mode that shows all possible moves;

- And much more.
