Dive into the engaging world of Classic Tri Peaks solitaire, a captivating card game also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks. This timeless game uses a standard deck and challenges you to dismantle three peaks composed of cards, offering a blend of strategy and skill that keeps players coming back for more.
The setup is simple yet intriguing: the game begins with eighteen cards laid out face-down to construct three pyramids, each featuring three overlapping tiers. Ten cards are then placed face-up on top of these pyramids, setting the stage for your strategic gameplay. The rest of the deck, comprising twenty-four cards, forms the stock, with the top card of the stock initiating the waste pile.
Your mission? To move cards from the tableau to the waste pile. A card can be moved if it is either one rank higher or one rank lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. This allows for dynamic sequences like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, and so on, until the chain breaks. As you progress, any face-down cards that become uncovered are flipped face-up, unveiling new possibilities.
