Extinction concludes the main ARK storyline, introducing a unique set of challenges distinct from those found in Scorched Earth and Aberration. The landscape is a post-apocalyptic nightmare where water sources have vanished, compelling players to devise innovative strategies to secure resources. As a survivor, your mission is to unravel the origins of the Ark system amidst a world overrun by Element and inhabited by bizarre creatures, including both robotic and organic rexes.

Alongside the new map, several updates have been introduced. Players can now benefit from a new Thick Skin insulation buff that enhances survival chances.
