After completing the main quest of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you can continue to enjoy nearly everything the game offers. The expansive open world of Feudal Japan is brimming with side content, and finishing the main quest does not restrict access to any of these activities. Feel free to explore and immerse yourself in the rich environment at your leisure.
Moreover, Ubisoft plans to introduce new weekly challenges through the Animus post-launch, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there will always be new goals to pursue.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained
Even after the credits roll, your journey might not be over. In my experience, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, to unlock the epilogue and true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro, then return to the Hideout to speak with Tomiko. This will unlock the complete ending and the associated achievements in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Additionally, exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke becomes available near the game's end. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist's play style and are a delightful nod to nostalgic Assassin’s Creed fans.
As for endgame content, players can continue to level up and progress well beyond the credits, aiming for the game's maximum level cap.
