Astra Yao

The developers of Zenless Zone Zero have introduced an exciting new twist with a focus on Astra Yao, offering players a deeper look into her past. As part of the ongoing character development, miHoYo (HoYoverse) brings back the beloved singer and part-time on-air support, Astra Yao, in a new animated short. This short highlights her involvement in a benefit concert dedicated to commemorating a cavernous disaster. The narrative provides a poignant glimpse into her past, following a brief and uncomfortable exchange with a journalist.

Astra Yao takes the spotlight in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update, while Evelyn Chevalier graces the second banner. The release of the 1.5 update brings with it the customary generosity of miHoYo (HoYoverse), distributing 300 polychromes for bug fixes and an additional 300 for the technical efforts behind the update. Players can find these rewards in their in-game mail.

Introduced as a new agent with an S rank, Astra Yao not only captivates as a singer but also excels as a powerful support agent. Her abilities are crucial for restoring allies' HP and providing significant damage boosts. When utilized effectively, Astra Yao's skills enable squad members to initiate attack chains and quick assists more frequently, dealing substantial damage to enemies.
