Below, we've ranked every *Avowed* Attribute from least to most impactful to help you make the most out of your character development.

Every Attribute in Avowed

In *Avowed*, there are six key Attributes, each with distinct advantages:

  • Might: Boosts your character's physical and spiritual strength, increasing damage from all sources and enhancing Carry Capacity. High Might can also unlock exclusive dialogue options, allowing you to intimidate enemies or dissuade them from fighting.
  • Constitution: Enhances overall health and endurance, boosting Maximum Health and resistance to Poisoned and Bleeding statuses. It may also unlock dialogue options that can influence interactions.
  • Dexterity: Improves Attack Speed for weapons and abilities, as well as Action Speed for equips, consumables, and parkour. It also increases Reload Speed, significantly enhancing mobility.
  • Perception: Increases Critical Hit Chance and Maximum Range for ranged weapons such as wands, guns, and bows. This Attribute can unlock additional dialogue options, though their impact on gameplay is generally minimal.
  • Intellect: Raises Maximum Essence and provides resistance to Ignited, Shocked, and Frozen statuses. It's particularly beneficial for spellcasters and can unlock additional dialogue options.
  • Resolve: Boosts Maximum Stamina and the efficiency of Second Wind. It's ideal for heavy weapon users and tank builds, and can unlock dialogue options similar to those of Constitution.

While every Attribute in *Avowed* caters to specific builds, some are universally beneficial across various playstyles. Here's our ranking to guide you in allocating your Attribute Points as you progress through the Living Lands:

6. Perception

Perception is highly specialized in *Avowed*, enhancing Critical Hit Chance and Maximum Range for ranged weapons. While this sounds advantageous, the effectiveness can vary due to the game's close-quarters combat settings. However, it's highly effective against certain enemy types, making it worth considering for specific encounters or even re-speccing your character to focus on it temporarily.

5. Resolve

Resolve increases Maximum Stamina and the effectiveness of Second Wind, which can be a lifesaver in combat. Yet, with ample Unique armor items that boost Stamina, Resolve's necessity diminishes. Second Wind, while useful, is often overshadowed by strategies that prioritize avoiding or tanking damage more efficiently.

4. Intellect

Intellect improves Maximum Essence and provides Elemental Resistance, crucial for withstanding elemental attacks. Even if your character doesn't specialize in magic, the increased Essence benefits numerous abilities across different classes, making Intellect a valuable Attribute for all types of builds.

3. Dexterity

Dexterity is a versatile Attribute that enhances Attack and Action Speed, improving mobility, item use, and overall DPS, particularly with melee weapons. Its broad utility makes it a worthwhile investment for any playstyle, boosting agility and combat efficiency.

2. Constitution

Constitution increases Maximum Health and resistance to Poison and Bleed, which are among the most lethal damage types in *Avowed*. Boosting these can significantly extend your survival in combat, making Constitution a top priority for longevity and resilience.

1. Might

Might stands out as the most impactful Attribute in *Avowed*. It amplifies damage across all weapons, making it essential for maximizing your DPS and overcoming both regular enemies and bosses. Additionally, Might enhances Carry Capacity, allowing you to carry more gear without becoming encumbered, which is crucial for both combat effectiveness and loot management.

This ranking should help guide your Attribute Point allocation in *Avowed*, ensuring your character is well-equipped to tackle the challenges of the Living Lands.
