While the world of the Living Lands in *Avowed* feels expansive, the main quest in Obsidian’s latest RPG is actually somewhat short. If you're looking for more to do after the credits roll, here's what you can expect once you've beaten *Avowed*.

Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?

For many game completionists, replaying a main quest on a higher difficulty with the skills and gear earned throughout the game is a thrilling experience, especially in RPGs. Unfortunately, *Avowed* does not feature a New Game Plus mode at launch. However, there is hope for the future. Many players have expressed a desire for this mode after finishing the main quest, and Obsidian might respond to this feedback by adding New Game Plus through an update or DLC.

Even without a New Game Plus mode, there are still compelling reasons to replay *Avowed*. The game offers numerous choices that significantly impact the story and gameplay, making it worthwhile to create a new save file to explore different endings and character builds.

Does Avowed Have Endgame Content?

*Avowed* is structured around four main regions, along with a secret unnamed finale area and a return to one of the game’s major cities, which we won’t spoil here. These final areas offer a challenging experience, but this challenge does not extend to the prior regions, and no new areas become available after completing the game. Unfortunately, once you roll the credits, you won’t be able to see how your decisions have shaped the Living Lands, which can be disappointing.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed

With no New Game Plus and a lack of traditional endgame content, *Avowed’s* post-game activities are somewhat limited. After defeating the final boss, you'll be treated to several minutes of animatic cutscenes that showcase the outcomes of your choices, providing a glimpse into how your decisions have affected the world and characters of the Living Lands. Once the cutscenes conclude, you'll return to the Main Menu.

From the Main Menu, you have two primary options: start a new journey with a different Envoy or reload a previous save. You'll have access to autosaves from just before the point of no return and before the final encounter, allowing you to replay these sections and make different decisions to experience various story outcomes and endings.

Reloading your save to before the point of no return also enables you to revisit any previous regions. This gives you the chance to complete any remaining side quests, collect missed items, and earn achievements. Since the enemies in these earlier regions do not level up to match your current upgrades, returning to an area like Dawnshore with your Legendary Quality weapons and gear can be an enjoyable experience.
