Bam Margera, the iconic skateboarder and Jackass star, will indeed be part of the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 game, despite not being initially listed on the roster. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Initially told it was not possible, Hawk persisted, showcasing his determination to see Margera featured in the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for an official comment on this development.
Margera's journey has been marked by challenges, including well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, and multiple rehab stints. He was also fired from the Jackass Forever project and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats. Despite these hurdles, Margera's recent skateboarding video with Tony Hawk sparked speculation about his return to the game.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has overcome significant obstacles, including the near-cancellation following Activision's merger of the previous series developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
