Supercell has just unveiled the Lumber Love season in Clash Royale, bringing an exciting mix of fast-paced action and strategic gameplay with fresh content. Expect to see a new card, an evolution, multiple limited-time events, and the much-anticipated return of the 2v2 ladder.
Leading the charge in the Lumber Love season is the new 2-Elixir troop, Berserker. This card offers a unique twist compared to other low-cost options like Bats or Goblins, as Berserker is a solo fighter. She prioritizes durability over raw damage, making her a resilient choice against spells that typically decimate swarm units. However, she can struggle against more powerful melee units in head-to-head battles, so strategic support is key to maximizing her potential. Curious about her place in the game? Don't miss our updated *Clash Royale tier list* to see how she compares!
Accompanying the Berserker is the Lumberjack Evolution, the second Legendary Evolution to grace Clash Royale. This evolution introduces a fascinating mechanic: after being defeated, the Lumberjack reappears as an invisible ghost, but only while under the influence of his Rage effect. The evolved Lumberjack, or Lumberghost, can deliver devastating blows to enemy towers with his swift attacks. Yet, he's not invincible; certain spells can reveal him, and he can be easily distracted by other troops or buildings outside his Rage zone.
Throughout February, the season will be packed with various events and challenges. Kicking off the festivities, Super Touchdown runs from February 3rd to 10th, followed by the Power of Love event from February 10th to 17th, where troops can switch sides mid-battle, adding an extra layer of strategy. Runic Rampage, from February 17th to 24th, will spotlight the Berserker and Rune Giant combo, while the Lumberjack Evolution Draft Challenge, set for February 24th to March 3rd, allows players to experiment with the new evolution. Each event offers rewards, including banner decorations and frames, enhancing your in-game profile.
The beloved 2v2 Ladder makes its return from February 10th to 24th, giving players another avenue to test their teamwork and strategies. Additionally, note that the 100 Crowns boost has been removed from the Diamond Pass in Pass Royale.
