Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has been rated for the Nintendo Switch 2, stirring excitement among fans even before any official confirmation of its arrival on the new console. This leak came from a now-deleted tweet by the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation, which was shared on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit.

"Experience the fighting action in the latest game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Available on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 3D battles and storylines that change based on your choices," the tweet stated before its removal, confirming a 12+ rating for the game.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero elevates the iconic gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series to new heights, featuring an "incredible number" of playable characters, each with their unique abilities, transformations, and techniques. This latest addition to the franchise captures the essence of Akira Toriyama's beloved anime and manga series.

In our IGN Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero review, we awarded it a 7/10, noting: "Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is a final flash from the past, sometimes to a fault, but the feeling of traveling back to a simpler time when games didn’t have to be balanced or competitive to be fun is still a good one."

Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 opened on April 24, priced at $449.99. As expected, they sold out quickly. On the same day, Nintendo issued a warning to U.S. customers who pre-ordered through the My Nintendo Store, stating that release date delivery couldn't be guaranteed due to overwhelming demand.
