Sphere Defense: A Minimalist Tower Defense Gem Now Available

Developer Tomoki Fukushima's Sphere Defense has officially launched, bringing a fresh take on the classic tower defense genre. The game tasks players with defending Earth from waves of enemies, but it's the minimalist aesthetic and vibrant neon visuals that set it apart.

Gameplay revolves around strategic unit placement to repel attacks. Successful defenses reward players with resources for upgrading units and enhancing their defenses. Difficulty increases with each level, challenging players to achieve perfect runs and high scores.

Fukushima cites the ten-year-old tower defense game geoDefense by David Whatley as inspiration, highlighting its simple yet engaging design.
