GTA 5 Enhanced Joins Xbox Game Pass for PC in 2 Weeks

Microsoft is set to enhance the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass libraries by adding Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 5 and its Enhanced version on April 15, 2025. This announcement, made through an Xbox Wire post, marks the much-anticipated return of GTA 5 to the Game Pass service after its previous removal. The addition of GTA 5 Enhanced to PC Game Pass is particularly exciting, as it includes the latest Enhanced update released by Rockstar in early March.

The new update, "Oscar Guzman Flies Again," offers players the chance to engage in thrilling aerial missions. As detailed by Xbox, you can take control of the McKenzie Field Hanger in Grapeseed, participate in new arms trafficking missions, and explore new aircraft, enhancing the gameplay experience significantly.

Despite the excitement, the return isn't without its challenges. The GTA 5 Enhanced update, which arrived on PC on March 4, introduced new vehicles, performance upgrades at Hao’s Special Works, animal encounters, and visual enhancements. However, it also led to significant backlash on Steam, where it became Rockstar's worst-reviewed title due to ongoing issues with account migration for GTA Online players.

For those new to Los Santos, the Enhanced version promises a fresh and immersive experience. However, returning players eager to migrate their GTA Online profiles to the new update might face difficulties, as the account migration problems persist.
