"Guide to Acquiring and Utilizing the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O."

Author : Aaliyah Apr 05,2025

In the chilling universe of *R.E.P.O.*, the items you collect are your lifeline, determining whether you'll advance to the next level or face a challenging battle in the Disposal Arena with your teammates. Among these crucial items, Recharge Drones play a pivotal role in ensuring your success, so let's delve into how to obtain and utilize them effectively.

What Recharge Drones Do

While navigating through the Service Station, you'll encounter a variety of items, some of which are single-use, like Mines and Grenades. Others, however, come with a "battery life" and can be rejuvenated using Energy Crystals. As you start your journey in *R.E.P.O.*, you'll notice a container-type object in your truck. This container is key to charging your weapons or drones, albeit at the cost of one Energy Crystal per charge.

When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, so there's no need to fret if they seem to vanish post-purchase. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket adjacent to the container, and watch as it regains its vitality. This process is invaluable for maintaining your gear in top shape, readying you to confront the next wave of horrors and levels.

However, the intensity of some levels can cause your items to wear down rapidly, depending on usage. While you can recharge them with Energy Crystals at designated spots, you won't always have your truck nearby. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes an indispensable ally, allowing you to manage your items' energy on the move.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like all items and upgrades, can be found at the Service Station, which you access after successfully completing a level. Here, you can equip yourself with the necessary tools to ease your journey through the next level, provided you have the funds.

Since items at the Service Station spawn randomly, it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. Once it does, it will cost you between $4-5K. This compact cube will occupy one of your inventory slots, so you'll need to assign it a number (1, 2, or 3) after purchase.

You can monitor your items' health via the battery bar displayed beneath them. To recharge an item, select the drone, activate it by pressing 'E', and then attach the depleted item. Let the Recharge Drone work its magic! When the drone's battery runs out, you can recharge it using Energy Crystals in your truck's container.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of where to find and how to use the Recharge Drone in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better prepared to face the horrors that await and keep your gear in prime condition throughout your journey.
