In the expansive world of *Monster Hunter Wilds*, finding certain resources like Sharp Fangs can be a challenging yet essential part of your adventure. Sharp Fangs can be found early in your journey through *Monster Hunter Wilds*. To start, head to the Windward Plains, which you can access at the beginning of the story. Here, you can embark on optional quests like "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding." These quests will guide you to the Windward Plains and provide a generous 50-minute time limit. Before setting out, consider preparing a meal to boost your performance.

Navigate to Area 8, the largest section of the map, either on foot or by using your Seikret. This area is bustling with various smaller monsters, some of which can drop Sharp Fangs. Focus your efforts on two primary targets:

Gaijos

Gaijos, small leviathan monsters resembling crocodiles with unique snouts, are your best bet for obtaining Sharp Fangs. They are typically found near or in the riverbeds of the Windward Plains, often alone. Use the interactive map to locate them by looking for purple diamonds near water sources.

Once you find a Gaijo, quickly dispatch it using your equipped weapon; they have relatively low health. After defeating a Gaijo, carve its carcass to obtain 1 x Sharp Fang. Gaijos are guaranteed to drop Sharp Fangs, making them a priority target. With four to five Gaijos available in the Windward Plains upon entering, you can repeatedly undertake the optional quests to farm more Sharp Fangs as needed.

The Talioth, another small monster found in the Windward Plains, can also drop Sharp Fangs, though not as reliably as the Gaijos. These bipedal creatures roam in small packs primarily in Area 8, with occasional appearances in Area 13. While they may pose a slightly greater challenge than Gaijos, they are manageable even with starter weapons.

When you defeat a Talioth, you may receive other items like Talioth Scales, but there's also a chance to obtain Sharp Fangs. Additionally, hunting Talioths allows you to complete the "The Desert is Demanding" quest, which requires you to kill 8 Talioths.
