Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for *Ironheart*, the highly anticipated MCU series set to debut on Disney+. Dominique Thorne returns as Riri Williams, the armored superhero introduced in *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* in 2022, alongside Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The trailer offers a glimpse into Riri's transformation into a standalone superhero after her supporting role in the MCU. It's evident that The Hood starts as a mentor figure to Riri, aiming to help her unlock her full potential, but there’s a deeper, more complex side to his character that promises intrigue.
Produced by executive producer Ryan Coogler, *Ironheart* will kick off with a three-episode premiere on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Disney+. Riri refers to her experiences in Wakanda as an "internship abroad," which leads to her being expelled from MIT. This pivotal moment prompts The Hood to challenge her, stating, "anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" The trailer showcases thrilling action sequences, including Riri donning her Ironheart suit, taking flight, and dramatically grounding herself to punch a truck, sending it soaring over her head.
