Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, offers a poignant post-apocalyptic narrative exploring themes of human sin and redemption, now available exclusively on Android (following its PC release on Steam).
A Journey of Atonement
The story follows Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, two millennia removed from his last memory. He finds himself in a desolate wasteland, guided by a mysterious girl burdened by a heavy mission: she's trapped in a cycle of repeated death and rebirth, endlessly atoning for humanity's sins. This relentless cycle, witnessed by Kyoya, inspires him to introduce her to the concept of happiness.
The narrative unfolds at a deliberate pace, initially slow-burning but eventually revealing intricate twists and cleverly interwoven details.

A Thought-Provoking Experience
Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live forgoes branching paths, presenting a linear, yet engaging story. Its simple yet appealing art style complements the blend of beauty and sorrow that permeates the narrative. The girl's fully voiced performance adds a haunting and fitting dimension to the experience. Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support. It's priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store, or free for Google Play Pass subscribers.
