Offline Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Arrives on Android!

After announcing the shutdown of its online version, Animal Crossing has dropped some great news today. Remember that Nintendo was planning to drop a paid offline version of the game? They’ve now announced the release date. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the new offline version is set to hit Android on December 3rd.What Else Do We Know?The current free-to-play Pocket Camp will officially shut down on November 29th. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the offline version, will be like a reimagined version of the game. It’s a one-time purchase. It’s priced at $9.99 if you grab it before January 31st, 2025. Post that, it goes to $19.99.  Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will be a complete pack, as the name suggests. That’s years of seasonal items, events and anything else that Pocket Camp has racked up since it dropped in 2017. You’ll still be setting up your dream campsite, choosing from 10,000+ items.So, Will There Be Any New Features in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete?Yes, you can now create your own Camper Cards. It’s basically your personal trading card to show off your style. Choose a pose, pick a colour and you’re set. You can even exchange cards with other players! And there’s a new gathering place called Whistle Pass. A place where all your Camper Card friends congregate, complete with guitar jams under the stars. Speaking of gathering places, Nintendo has made it possible to transfer your old Pocket Camp save data into the new version. You have until June 2nd, 2025 to do it.
Even though Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will be an offline game, Nintendo mentioned that it’ll need occasional internet checks to verify details like time and account info. Also, Nintendo is keeping all the seasonal events, from Halloween spookiness to summer festivals.
