Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM Launch New Skins, Emotes, and Challenges

Get ready, Overwatch 2 fans! The much-anticipated collaboration with K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM is making a grand return, bringing with it a fresh wave of excitement and content. Mark your calendars for March 18, 2025, as this event is set to align perfectly with the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album, "Hot." This collaboration follows their previous successful event in November 2023, which celebrated the song "Perfect Night." The new partnership was officially teased in a Twitter (X) post on March 11, showcasing a trailer that has fans buzzing with anticipation. The collaboration was first hinted at during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, confirming Blizzard's plans for another round with LE SSERAFIM.

This time around, players can look forward to an array of new skins that will transform Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari into dazzling embodiments of LE SSERAFIM's style. For those who missed out on the previous event, there's good news: recolored versions of the LE SSERAFIM skins for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte from the 2023 collab will be up for grabs once again. However, fans should note that the unique Concert Clash mode, which was a highlight of the last event tied to "Perfect Night," won't be making a comeback this time. But don't worry—players can still earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by tackling the in-game challenges during the event period.

Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the upcoming event. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that's celebrating their new album," Denett remarked. She also highlighted the absence of a new Overwatch-specific song but emphasized their commitment to celebrating K-pop culture through a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album. "We're pretty excited about it and have a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration," she added.

The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration will run from March 18 until March 31, 2025.
