Pikmin Bloom Earth Day Event Brings a Party Walk That Counts Flowers Instead of Steps

Today marks a special occasion—it's Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom is celebrating with an innovative twist on their Party Walk event. Instead of counting steps, this time, the focus is on planting flowers, aligning perfectly with the Earth Day spirit of nurturing our planet. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality and location-based gaming, you won't want to miss out on this unique opportunity to contribute to a greener world.

When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?

The Pikmin Bloom Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk is set to run from April 22nd to April 30th. During this period, instead of tracking your steps, the game will count the number of flowers you plant. Each bloom contributes to a global total, making your participation crucial for reaching collective goals.

This event encourages players to engage more deeply with the environment, turning the act of planting flowers into a meaningful contribution to the Earth Day cause. Pikmin Bloom adds a fun element by rewarding these efforts with unique in-game items.

The more flowers planted by the community, the greater the rewards. If the total reaches 500 million flowers, participants will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. Should the community push the total to 1 billion flowers, a Snow Decor Pikmin becomes available. And if the collective effort hits 1.5 billion flowers, a special Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, exclusive to White Pikmin, will be unlocked.

But Keep This in Mind

To ensure your flowers count towards the global total, you must officially join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Make sure your app is updated to version 117 and that you're properly signed up. If you're new to the game, you can download it from the Google Play Store.

To help you achieve the planting goals, everyone participating in the event will receive a promo code. Remember, all types of flowers contribute to the goal, so feel free to plant any variety you choose. Get out there, start blooming, and make a difference!
