"Possessions: A Wordless Story Coming Soon to iOS, Android"

Author : Sarah Apr 16,2025

Noodlecake and Lucid Labs have announced the return of Possessions to iOS and Android platforms following its exclusive run on Apple Arcade. This minimalist 3D puzzle game invites players to view everyday items with a fresh perspective. Possessions features charming dioramas of a family's belongings, with the narrative unfolding through gameplay rather than dialogue.

The game's unique approach to storytelling showcases how wordless experiences can often convey a narrative more powerfully. In Possessions, players rotate scenes to correctly position various items, from disorganized photo frames to swinging cupboard doors. This mechanic requires keen spatial awareness, but the game's soothing soundscape helps maintain a calming atmosphere, even during challenging moments.

A new AR mode enhances the gameplay experience, allowing players to physically move around rooms to explore different levels. However, caution is advised when using AR in public spaces to avoid unwanted incidents or surprises for bystanders.

The game will feature a Try Before You Buy model on iOS, while Android users will enjoy a free-with-ads version, with the option of a one-time purchase to remove ads.

To mark the launch, a 20% discount will be available on the $4.99 in-app purchase for the first two weeks. Interested players can visit the official website or watch the embedded video clip to get a sense of the game's atmosphere and visuals.
