As Marvel Rivals progresses through the early stages of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, NetEase Games is already sharing future plans with its community. In a recent interview, the developers announced their intention to release a new playable hero every month and a half. While Season 1 will see all members of the Fantastic Four debut over three months, future seasons will contain less content. Nonetheless, fans are eager to see more of their beloved characters join the game at a consistent pace.

On Reddit, user Useful_You_8045 praised the Midnight Features event quests of Season 1, particularly appreciating their availability across multiple game modes such as Quick Play, Competitive, and matches against AI. The option to complete quests against computer opponents has been a significant relief for players, allowing them to experiment with new heroes or focus on challenges in a low-pressure environment. Additionally, some fans have expressed satisfaction with Season 1's rewards, including a Gallery Card that offers a first glimpse of Blade in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals’ Midnight Features Event Quests Are a Hit With Fans

Players have quickly noticed that NetEase Games has enhanced the visual presentation of event quests, adding to their importance in the season. When accessing the Events tab, players encounter a Midnight Features newspaper, where each headline and animated image introduces new quests. Although not all quests are currently available, they are expected to fully unlock on January 17. Completing all event quests will reward players with a free Thor skin in Marvel Rivals.

Gamers have been pleased with the enhancements NetEase Games has implemented in Season 1, such as offering two free skins in the battle pass instead of one. The season also introduces new maps, a new game mode, and balance changes to maintain fairness among the game's extensive character roster.
