Square Enix Announces The EOS Of Romancing SaGa Re:universe

Romancing SaGa Re:universe global version is wrapping things up for good, with the end of service officially happening on December 2nd, 2024. Is it a surprise or is it not? You decide that. However, the Japanese version will keep running as it is.Two More Months Of Gameplay LeftAs I mentioned before, the game will shut down in December. Item sales that require paid jewels, along with Google Play Points exchanges, have already ended after the last maintenance (which was on September 29th, 2024).The global version dropped in June 2020, and after four years of highs and lows, this chapter is coming to an end. Despite the gorgeous visuals, solid sound and generous gacha system, Romancing SaGa Re:universe received mixed reviews.Unlike its Japanese counterpart which is quite popular and liked by many, the global version has been a hit with some but a miss with others. It missed out on important chunks of content like Solistia and character upgrades like 6-star units. It’s been almost a year since Japan got that content, and not seeing it on global kind of sealed the fate for some players. What Are Your Thoughts?Square Enix, the game’s creators, have shut down a bunch of games already this year. It was Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius first, then there were two Dragon Quest mobile games. And now Romancing SaGa Re:universe global.Based on the classic SaGa series, Romancing SaGa Re:universe is a traditional turn-based RPG. If you play it now, you have two more months to do so. And if you haven’t played the game yet, you have two months to give it a spin. Check it out on the Google Play Store, if you want to try it out. Before heading out, read our news on Legend Of Kingdoms: Idle RPG Where You Get To Collect Ancient Heroes And Be The Strategy Lord.
