Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary: Tour 21 Cities in 21 Days!

Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting global event starting on May 12th. Players will embark on a thrilling globe-trotting marathon to mark the occasion.

The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The celebration kicks off in Copenhagen, where Subway Surfers first launched. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content to the Danish capital and initiates a unique daily city-hopping challenge. Players will have the opportunity to run through not only Copenhagen but also unlock up to 21 other cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To progress through these destinations, players must collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next.

This update also marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a tradition that started in 2013. Currently, the game is set in Osaka, celebrating Golden Week with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. New characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are introduced here. Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced. Check out the official trailer for more details.

Gear Up for the Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary

Subway Surfers debuted on May 23rd, 2012, and has since attracted 150 million monthly players with over four billion downloads worldwide. This milestone deserves a grand celebration. After 12 years and 199 cities, the game continues to connect players globally through its depiction of local scenery.

From May 12th to June 1st, players can enjoy bonus content, including two new travel-themed characters, Loc and Stevie, along with new outfits, hoverboards, and rewards. Don't miss the official trailer for the 13th Birthday in Copenhagen.

Download the game from the Google Play Store and join the celebration.
