"Sunset Hills: A Dog Veteran

Sunset Hills is an enchanting new puzzle game available on Android, crafted by Cottongame, the creative minds behind Reviver and Mr. Pumpkin Adventure. Like its predecessors, this game immerses players in a soft, pastel-colored universe, filled with charming old cityscapes, humanoid dogs, and heartwarming narratives.

Accompany Nico, a War Veteran, in His Journey

In Sunset Hills, you step into the shoes of Nico Grant, a novelist and former soldier. Set in June 794, Nico embarks on a train journey to reconnect with his fellow ex-servicemen, driven by a deep-seated need to revisit the past. It has been seven years since the war concluded, and Nico seeks to reconnect with his friends Ferruccio, Doug, and Roy.

The game delicately unravels Nico's emotions and memories. As a child, Nico was introverted, preferring the solace of books and his vivid imagination over social interactions. Drawn into the war despite his small stature and unique nature, Nico faced bullying and struggled to keep pace. Yet, he found solace and strength in writing, using a small notebook as his outlet. This notebook not only became a personal refuge but also a means to forge lasting friendships with his squadmates, transforming initial teasing into deep bonds that endured beyond the war.

Now a successful writer, Nico's journey spans various cities and countries, each train stop offering new moments and puzzles to solve.

Sunset Hills Shows That Life after War Is Strange

Sunset Hills is a point-and-click adventure where every conversation can provide vital clues. Players will engage in activities such as picking up and combining items, solving puzzles that range from locating specific objects to aiding others, solving minor crimes, or even evading pursuers. The game also includes unique tasks like stitching clothes, baking bread, and performing with a band, adding layers of depth and diversity to the gameplay.

The visual style of Sunset Hills combines hand-drawn art with 3D scenes, featuring Victorian-inspired architecture that enhances the game's charm. For a glimpse into this captivating world, check out the trailer below.
