Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

Author : Finn Apr 18,2025

Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now reach the coveted Fire Seal after clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this seal, you need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here’s how to collect each of these items and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact that can be found within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated, then navigate to the mines and reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the item on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. Like other artifacts, it can be unearthed from marked spots on the ground using either your pickaxe or shovel. Due to its rarity, you might need to spend some time grinding through these floors to secure it.

Rockroot is a commonly found forageable item between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're an avid miner, you might already have this item in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown above. You'll only need one Rockroot to fulfill the Priestess’ altar requirement.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are among the easiest items to acquire for the Fire Seal offerings. They can be found in Emerald geodes scattered across Floors 50-59 in the mines. These are quite common, so you should have no trouble finding enough. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders around Mistria or purchasing them at Balor’s Wagon for a modest 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the game's March 2025 update, you can also craft them yourself, saving time on searching.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The final item needed to break the Fire Seal is the Sealing Scroll. This scroll is tied to a quest that starts after you discover the seal and speak with Juniper. You'll need to enlist Balor’s help to obtain it, but at a cost. To get the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

If you don't have these materials, they can all be found within the mines. Once you've gathered them, deposit them in the bin near Balor’s Wagon to secure the scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and much more during the game's Early Access phase.

NOTE: *Fields of Mistria* is currently in Early Access, and its content is subject to change. The information provided here is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated as necessary.

*Fields of Mistria* is available to play now in Steam Early Access.
