The open beta for aircraft battles in War Thunder Mobile has officially kicked off. Loaded with serious aerial action, Gaijin Entertainment has dropped this latest update. You get to test out more than 100 planes from across three nations and more.While the game had some aircraft involvement before, mainly in naval and ground support. However, this aircraft open beta brings a full-blown aerial tech tree to War Thunder Mobile. And it gives you a dedicated air-focused mode.Here’s The Full Scoop On The Aircraft Open Beta Of War Thunder Mobile!Right now, the game features planes from three major nations: the USA, Germany and the USSR. You’ll find iconic aircraft like the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and the La-5 in the lineup. And the good news is that more nations are coming later.You can choose to stick to one country’s tech tree or jump around to progress through multiple. You can grab some top-tier & high-ranking aircraft through blueprints by participating in in-game events. The first one is set to kick off in early October.Once you dive into this open beta, you’ll have access to the new Aviation campaign. Here, you can check out the aircraft hangar, research tech trees and upgrade your crews.You can form squadrons with four planes at a time. You can modify your aircraft and choose different armaments. A Bit More About The RulesThe aircraft hangar is where you’ll spend a lot of your time between battles. From there, you can view your vehicles, select camouflage, check out the tech tree and even invite friends to join your squad.
You get three main options for each aircraft slot. You can swap out the vehicle, modify the armament or upgrade the crew that’s assigned to that slot. You can build a squadron with any available aircraft, regardless of class, nation or rank.
