New Warhammer Tacticus Faction Unveiled at Skulls Event

Author : Zoey May 21,2025

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, developed by Snowprint Studios, continues to dominate the mobile gaming scene for Warhammer enthusiasts. Whether you're a fan or not, it's hard to overlook the game's extensive roster of factions, which is about to grow even larger with an exciting new addition announced at the Warhammer Skulls showcase.

The big reveal is scheduled for May 22nd, where we'll finally learn which faction will join the ranks of Tacticus. With the promise of hefty discounts across various grimdark games set in the far future and the Old World, this event is not to be missed. Given the game already boasts over a dozen factions, the new addition could be anything from an Imperium or Chaos spin-off to a much-needed spotlight on the xenos factions.

Personally, I'm rooting for the Leagues of Votann, the deep space mining, hard-drinking, and cloned (not-dwarves) faction that recently burst onto the 40k scene. Including them in Tacticus could significantly boost their visibility and appeal. However, we might end up with a more conventional choice like the Grey Knights or the Inquisition. Make sure to tune in at *9am PST, 12pm EST, 5pm BST, and 6pm CEST* to catch the reveal live on Twitch at the Warhammer Skulls showcase!
