Author : Camila Jan 08,2026
  • Wuthering Waves version 2.6 has revealed the first glimpse of two new characters in action.
  • Iuno and Augusta are intriguing additions, each showcasing a diverse set of skills.
  • How will they integrate into the game? Stay tuned for the latest update arriving later this month.

With Wuthering Waves version 2.6 launching later this month, there's plenty of speculation about its content. On the character front, however, things are becoming clearer. Kuro Games has introduced two new figures joining the roster: Augusta and Iuno.

Described as central to the version 2.6 storyline, both characters feature a distinct Roman-inspired aesthetic that would feel right at home in a Greek epic. Augusta wields a massive greatsword, while Iuno commands a flying chakram-like weapon that lets her glide across the battlefield.

So far, we've only seen a showcase of their abilities and designs. How they'll weave into Wuthering Waves' ongoing narrative remains a mystery. But judging by the dynamic and visually striking nature of their skills, they're poised to play significant roles.

Augusta and Iuno

Naturally, many players are already analyzing Iuno’s and Augusta’s movesets, curious how they’ll place on our Wuthering Waves tier list and whether they’ll excel in late-game challenges.

This may explain why both characters are positioned as essential to the upcoming story arc. Given the inventive mechanics introduced in recent updates like Unfading Melody of Life—which brought musically themed abilities that reshape the world around players—it would be a shame to miss out on them.

While you wait for Wuthering Waves version 2.6, you might be looking for something to pass the time. What better way than diving into a classic adventure game? And just in time—Broken Sword: Reforged has just arrived on digital storefronts!
