No Battle Pass Required

Launching on August 23rd for PS5 and PC, Concord prioritizes a rewarding base experience. Instead of a Battle Pass, players earn meaningful rewards through gameplay, character progression, and objective completion. This design choice focuses on making the core game engaging and rewarding from day one.

Season 1: The Tempest (October 2024)

Concord's first season, "The Tempest," arrives in October, introducing:

• A new Freegunner character.
• A fresh map.
• New Freegunner Variants.
• Expanded cosmetics and rewards.
• Weekly Cinematic Vignettes enriching the Northstar crew storyline.
• An in-game store offering purely cosmetic items with no gameplay impact.

Season 2 and Beyond (January 2025)

Season 2 is scheduled for January 2025, signifying Firewalk Studios' commitment to consistent seasonal content updates throughout Concord's first year.

Gameplay Strategies and Crew Building

Concord's "Crew Builder" system allows for team customization. Players build five-Freegunner crews, with the option to include up to three copies of a Freegunner's Variants. This system encourages diverse team compositions tailored to playstyles and match challenges.

Unlike traditional roles (Tank, Support), Concord's Freegunners focus on high DPS and combat effectiveness. Six roles—Anchor, Breacher, Haunt, Ranger, Tactician, and Warden—define their impact, emphasizing area control, strategic positioning, and flanking maneuvers. Combining Freegunners from different roles unlocks Crew Bonuses, enhancing mobility, recoil, cooldowns, and more.
