Infinity Nikki Delays v1.6 Launch After Community Outcry

After weeks of player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the rocky rollout of Version 1.5. If you've been playing, you know it felt incomplete, and the team has now admitted they weren't ready for the launch. As a result, they've decided to delay Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?

Originally set to release on June 4th, Version 1.6 has been rescheduled to June 12th. This delay extends the current Bubble Season, keeping all related events like Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? active until the new release date. Stores such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will also remain open until then. Additionally, weekly tasks like Starlit Pursuit, originally scheduled for May 20th, have been postponed to coincide with Version 1.6.

The developers have issued an apology and revealed they've been facing performance issues across various platforms, including PlayStation. They're currently working on refining gameplay systems and have assured players that missing storylines, such as Threads of Reunion, have not been abandoned but merely delayed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

The game has recently been plagued with bugs, broken quests, and co-op malfunctions. In an effort to mitigate the situation, the team is offering daily compensation from June 5th to June 12th, consisting of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day. Players must log in daily to claim these rewards.

Some community members view this as a last-ditch effort to improve engagement metrics following their missteps. There's also a sense of disappointment among players due to the swift transition from the apology to promotional banners for new outfits.
