Minion Rush Gets a Massive Update with Endless Runner Mode and More

Gameloft has just unveiled a massive update for Minion Rush: Running Game that brings significant enhancements and new gameplay elements to the beloved title. This update marks a pivotal shift to the Unity engine, ushering in a full visual overhaul that makes the once cartoony but dated runner look cleaner and sharper. Accompanying this upgrade is a refreshed user interface designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly.

One of the most eagerly awaited additions is the new endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu. This mode introduces individual abilities for Minions, adding depth to the gameplay experience. Another highly demanded feature now implemented is the ability to customize player profiles with nicknames, avatars, and frames. Additionally, a new Costume Collection feature has been introduced, allowing players to unlock special bonuses as they collect and showcase different outfits.

The update also introduces the Hall of Jam, where players can collect bananas during their runs to fill a progress bar. Filling this bar unlocks a variety of rewards, including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes. To showcase these exciting changes, Gameloft has released a trailer for the massive update:

Alongside these core changes, new power-ups have been added to the game, including the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor. Gameloft has also introduced new Gadgets that allow players to customize their strategy before embarking on a run, providing temporary boosts to distance and performance.

Locations from earlier versions of the game are receiving visual updates, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Furthermore, the update introduces daily and weekly tournaments, enabling players to compete against others and earn rewards. For those interested in experiencing these new features, Minion Rush is available on the Google Play Store.
