Fantasy sandbox MMORPG Albion Online has launched its highly anticipated Abyssal Depths update, as announced by Sandbox Interactive. This release introduces a thrilling new mode to its world of magic and combat.
What’s New in Albion Online’s Abyssal Depths?
Named for its subterranean focus, the update unveils dungeons concealed within ancient, demon-filled aqueducts. These compact underground mazes challenge groups of two or three players to fight both creatures and rival adventurers.
In the Depths, players navigate unpredictable durations, gathering Souls and accumulating buffs as they descend. If defeated, only inventory items are lost, preserving equipped gear. The deepest level houses a secured Treasure Vault.
The update also features the Antiquarian’s Den, a foreboding hub accessible from all Royal Cities and Caerleon. It serves as a gateway to the Depths, Hellgates, and Corrupted Dungeons.
Additionally, the Antiquarian Standing system centers on the Antiquarian, a mysterious figure managing the Den. It introduces two new spiderlings: the Hellspinner and the Soulspinner.
Plenty to Discover!
Abyssal Depths brings two unique Crystal Weapons to Albion Online: the Truebolt Hammer and the Stillgaze Staff. The hammer delivers electrifying strikes to foes while protecting nearby allies. The staff, meanwhile, transforms its wielder into a Crystal Cobra.
A new Character Progression category in the Journal, linked to the Destiny Board, offers milestones, long-term goals, and exclusive rewards.
For newcomers, the update provides ample rewards to jumpstart their journey. Download Albion Online from the Google Play Store to explore this expansive update.
