Title Update 1 introduces a heightened level of difficulty, urging players to "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters!" Capcom announced. "TU1 will introduce a monster of formidable strength, surpassing even Tempered levels!" Additionally, a new challenging monster will join the fray with this update.

A notable feature of Title Update 1 is the addition of an endgame social hub. "A new place to meet, communicate, enjoy meals together, and more with fellow hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1!" Capcom stated.
