Experienced Stardew Valley farmers know the Greenhouse is a game-changer, vital for revitalizing their family farm. This guide details its plant capacity.

What Is the Stardew Valley Greenhouse?

Located on your farm, the Greenhouse unlocks by completing Community Center bundles (or via the Joja Community Development Form). It overcomes seasonal crop limitations. After completing the six pantry bundles, the Greenhouse is restored overnight, ready for use.

The Greenhouse grows any plant, any season, including fruit trees, providing year-round access to profitable crops—especially high-yield ones. These plants, unless removed, are a constant gold source.

Inside, space accommodates trees, chests, and equipment like Seed Makers. There's also 120 tillable plots (10 rows x 12 columns). However, capacity varies depending on sprinkler use.

Without sprinklers, the Greenhouse holds 120 crops plus 18 fruit trees (fruit trees require two tiles of spacing).

Sprinklers are time-savers. The number of plants depends on sprinkler type and placement (including the wooden border):

  • Sixteen Quality Sprinklers cover all crops (using twelve inner tiles).
  • Six Iridium Sprinklers cover all crops (using four inner tiles).
  • Four Iridium Sprinklers (with Pressure Nozzles) cover all crops (using two inner tiles).
  • Five Iridium Sprinklers (with Pressure Nozzles) cover all crops (using one inner tile).

With smart planning, the Greenhouse significantly boosts farm productivity, yielding up to 120 crops annually.
