Japanese game studio ZOO Corporation just released a new Android title called SETTRIS. If you enjoy slow-paced puzzle challenges, this fresh twist on the classic block-stacking formula may be just what you're looking for.
More Than Just Another Block Puzzle?
While it shares core mechanics with traditional tile-matching games, Settris establishes its own relaxing rhythm and strategic depth. The game encourages thoughtful placement of uniquely shaped polyomino blocks to completely fill each board.
Players maneuver and rotate geometric pieces across a grid, with early levels serving as gentle introductions before gradually introducing complex configurations. Without built-in hints, progression depends on careful experimentation and spatial reasoning.
Two Distinct Ways to Play
Settris offers Stage Mode and Time Attack Mode to suit different preferences. Stage Mode provides 80 progressively challenging puzzles where players must perfectly fit provided pieces into various board layouts.
Time Attack Mode introduces pressure with countdown timers across three difficulty levels (3, 4, or 5 blocks per puzzle). Achieving each difficulty's accomplishment requires solving ten puzzles within five minutes. Random puzzle selection ensures repeated playthroughs reveal new patterns and efficient solutions.
