Starfield PS5 Hinted in Creation Preview

Speculation that Starfield may soon launch on PlayStation 5 intensified after fans discovered a PlayStation logo appearing on Bethesda's official Creations website.

The logo appeared alongside a work-in-progress ship decals Creation for Starfield before being removed, fueling theories that Bethesda's previously Xbox and PC-exclusive sci-fi title could be coming to PS5.

They have added the Playstation logo to a creation. (I think they are beta testers, the logo only appears on one creation)

This discovery has sparked discussions about whether Bethesda might pair a potential PS5 release with significant content updates or even a new expansion, especially following the lukewarm reception of the Shattered Space DLC. Microsoft's expected summer showcase could provide the perfect opportunity for official announcements regarding Starfield's future.

Bethesda has previously mentioned having "exciting plans" for Starfield this year, responding to player concerns about update droughts. The studio confirmed in June 2024 its long-term commitment to the game, promising at least one additional story expansion following Shattered Space. Executive producer Todd Howard revealed ambitions to release annual story expansions during an interview with YouTube channel MrMattyPlays.

Starfield launched in September 2023 as Bethesda's first new IP in decades and its inaugural major single-player release under Microsoft ownership. IGN's review scored the space RPG 7/10, praising its expansive quests while acknowledging significant challenges.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has repeatedly declined to rule out a PS5 version, while reports as early as March 2024 suggested both Starfield and MachineGames' Indiana Jones were being considered for PlayStation.
