Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates

Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025. The game's official Twitter (X) account announced this delay on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been sharing Dev Diaries over the past few months, offering glimpses into the game's characters, stories, and mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries are now on pause as the developers shift their focus to enhancing the game's overall quality.

First Revealed in 2019

Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, initially slated for a March 2020 release. The game was originally developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, in October 2019, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and later to 2021.

During this period, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room would take over development. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, later shifted to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is scheduled for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates by checking out our article below!
