S-Rank Banners Return in Zenless Zone Zero v1.5 Update

Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 Update Introduces Highly Anticipated Agent Reruns

Version 1.5 of Zenless Zone Zero marks a significant shift in the game's character release strategy. Unlike previous updates focused solely on new agents, this update will feature reruns of popular S-Rank agents, Ellen Joe and Qingyi. This follows the model of other HoYoverse titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, addressing player requests for a second chance to obtain previously missed characters.

The decision to introduce rerun banners is a notable change for Zenless Zone Zero. While initially prioritizing new additions, the developer, HoYoverse, has finally confirmed the inclusion of rerun banners in response to fan demand. Version 1.4's absence of reruns fueled speculation, but Version 1.5 delivers on this highly anticipated feature.

Version 1.5 will be divided into two phases:

Phase 1 (January 22 - February 12):

  • Astra Yao (New Agent)
  • Ellen Joe (Rerun) This phase also includes the addition of Ellen Joe's Agent Story.

Phase 2 (February 12 - March 11):

  • Evelyn Chevalier (New Agent)
  • Qingyi (Rerun)

Both rerun banners will also offer their respective W-Engines, allowing players to fully equip these returning agents.

Beyond the agent reruns, Version 1.5 introduces three new character outfits:

  • "Chandelier" for Astra
  • "On Campus" for Ellen
  • "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole (obtainable for free through the Day of Brilliant Wishes event)

This update significantly expands the possibilities for character acquisition and customization in Zenless Zone Zero, catering to both new and returning players.
