Defend Your Evil Lair in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, Now Out on Android!

Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile release offers a fresh take on the classic.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single remake. However, they cleverly split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile, and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version for Nintendo Switch and Steam (releasing later this year) with updated content. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Embrace Your Inner Villain!

Castle Doombad: Free To Slay lets you unleash your inner evil mastermind. Build a wicked lair, thwart heroic do-gooders, and utilize traps and minions as your ultimate weapons.

Check out the game trailer below!

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 unlockable and upgradeable traps, and more than 100 collectible items. A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you adorn your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Combine these with "Baddie Bonus" perks for a personalized villainous experience.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds replayability with randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares, each granting unique powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
