Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Update Fallout
Players Receiving Diamond Compensation
The launch of Infinity Nikki's Version 1.5 proved disappointing as developer Infold Games failed to deliver on promised features while introducing multiple technical issues. In response to community backlash, the studio announced compensation packages via Twitter/X on May 18.
Players encountered numerous game-breaking bugs across all platforms, along with controversial system changes. Most notably, the update increased requirements for completing 5-star outfits from 9-10 pieces to 11 pieces, raising the maximum pull requirement to 220 - significantly increasing both cost and grind time.

The update also introduced a confusing new dye system requiring players to unlock color palettes individually for each clothing item. Additionally, the Threads of Reunion storyline was removed unexpectedly since its associated outfit remains unfinished. Infold Games admitted they "failed to properly refine the Sea of Stars chapter introduction" due to technical hurdles.
As compensation, all players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5-12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals. However, the studio hasn't clarified how they'll address core issues beyond compensation.
Version 1.6 Development Delayed

The problematic Version 1.5 launch has forced Infold Games to postpone Version 1.6 until June 12, 2025. This delay impacts multiple planned events and content updates. The Starlit Pursuit weekly task, originally scheduled for May 20, will now debut in Version 1.6.
"We're refining task mechanics for smoother gameplay," Infold stated, promising to share more details soon. Affected players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation.
Additional Changes Planned

Infold Games acknowledges Version 1.5 introduced more problems than they've currently addressed. "We're discussing numerous unlisted adjustments that require extended development cycles," they explained, promising phased improvements.
To improve transparency, the studio is launching a Miraland Round Table initiative allowing direct player feedback through official email (with "Table Advisor" in subject line) or in-game Customer Service.
Despite frustrations, Infold expressed gratitude for player support and vowed to make Infinity Nikki "shine brighter than ever." The fashion RPG remains available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC platforms.
