Ragnarok M: Class and Job Guide

Author : David May 29,2025

Ragnarok M: Classic, the latest addition to the beloved Ragnarok franchise, is now available thanks to Gravity Game Interactive. Unlike its predecessors, this version prioritizes immersive gameplay by eliminating intrusive shop pop-ups. Instead of traditional microtransactions, the game features a universal currency known as Zeny, which players can earn through in-game events, quests, and item grinding. Despite these changes, one hallmark of the series remains consistent—the class system. This guide offers new players a comprehensive overview of all classes and their advancement paths. Let’s dive in!

Merchant Class Overview

The Merchant is a versatile class with unique abilities that revolve around gold coins and trade mechanics:

  • Mammonite (Active): Attacks an enemy with gold coins, dealing attack damage.
  • Cart Attack (Active): Utilizes carts to deliver a powerful lane attack, dealing 300% lane damage. Note that carts are essential for this skill.
  • Loud Exclamation (Active): Temporarily boosts strength for 120 seconds, increasing your strength by 1 point.
  • Fund Raising (Passive): Collecting Zeny produces a soothing melody and grants an additional 2% bonus.
  • Enhanced Cart (Passive): Increases attack power when using cart-related skills.
  • Buying Low (Passive): Purchases items at a 1% discount from select NPC merchants.

Progression Paths

Merchants have two primary advancement routes:

  1. Merchant → Blacksmith → Whitesmith → Mechanic
  2. Merchant → Alchemist → Creator → Genetic

For an enhanced gaming experience, players can enjoy Ragnarok M: Classic on their PC or laptop using BlueStacks, paired with a keyboard and mouse for seamless control.
