How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

Author : Max Jan 20,2025

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful entities offering players valuable items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive Sprite, can be found only on the new Chapter 6 map in the main Battle Royale mode (including Zero Build and Ranked).

Earth Sprite Locations:

The Earth Sprite boasts nearly two dozen potential spawn points, each marked by a distinctive solitary lantern (similar to the one shown in the image below). However, only two Earth Sprites appear per match, making finding one a challenge requiring exploration of multiple potential locations.

  • Flooded Frogs (North and Southwest)
  • Magic Mosses (Northeast and West)
  • Demon’s Dojo (North)
  • Whiffy Warf (Southeast)
  • Pumped Power (Southeast)
  • Twinkle Terrace (Southeast)
  • Lost Lake (South)
  • Brutal Boxcars (South)
  • The border of the green and brown biomes (East)
  • Burd (North)
  • Warriors Watch & Foxy Floodgate (East and South)
  • Canyon Crossing (West, including a snowy mountain location)
  • Masked Meadows and Hopeful Heights (Between, and three locations North and Northeast of Hopeful Heights)
  • Seaport City and Shining Span (North of both)

Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite:

Locating an Earth Sprite is the most difficult aspect. Once found, simply interact with it (using the interact button). This will transfer your currently held weapon to the Sprite, completing the Week 1 quest and awarding 25,000 XP. Note that you'll lose the weapon given, but receive a random Legendary rarity weapon in return. This makes the effort worthwhile, providing a significant advantage in-game.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
